We had the chance to climb the Himlung Himal with Jyamchang in September 2018. Before the expedition, we had several skype conversations to organise the expedition and to understand each other’s expectations. By this way, we also learned to know each other before the expedition. From the beginning, we could feel that the trip would be personalized and that several accommodation/etc. choices would be in our hands, and we enjoyed that. During the expedition, we could really feel that Jyamchang and his team were very professional and always favoring security despite some setbacks (i.e. huge flood on the way back). Jyamchang has a very extensive knowledge on how to organize high mountaineering expeditions and we could really sense it during the whole trip. In addition, every member of the team is very nice, we spent a great time with them, and that’s important on a long expedition in the mountains.
We highly recommend “High Himalayan Climbing and Expeditions” if you plan to reach a summit/organize a trek in Nepal.
