Climbing Everest with Jyamchang and the High Himilayan family was a great experience. We had a lovely trek to base camp, and our base camp setup was more than adequate. Throughout the acclimatization rotations, we were pushed to become stronger and smarter climbers and became very familiar with our Sherpa team, many of whom had multiple summits of Everest already. Jyamchang was resourceful in gathering all available weather data to help us make a great decision of when to attempt our final summit push, and we were able to avoid making any costly mistakes. Come summit day, we split into small groups and made good time up the mountain in order to reach the summit just after sunrise. I have now had three successful expeditions with Jymachang, including also Ama Dablam and Mt. Aspiring, and I always feel safe and well looked after with him. High Himilayan is a local Sherpa-led Nepali company, but Jyamchang is a renowned guide with many western guiding philosophies and experiences, so I believe this company is a great choice and highly recommend them for all himalayan adventures!
