TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is around remote traditional villages taking greetings of local people passing lush green vegetation with viewing snow covered Himalayas around beautiful Annapurna range.

The trek starts from Pokhara for 10 days to the base of Annapurna – with scenic city of Nepal. After the British traveler col. James O.M “Jimmy’ invented the Annapurna area for Nepal trekking, in 1956 again Robert informs to the world its is the “Sanctuary of Gods’. The Annapurna Base Camp trek has named as Annapurna sanctuary Trek as Anna means Food and Purna means enough. The Annapurna Himalaya of harvest goddess. The rivers are feed by glacier, the river irrigates, thus bouncy enough to feed the human and entire living beings. The massive Annapurna peak range hand touching distance. It is also known as ABC trek as well. The popular trail cross the scenic view spot Ghorepani Poon Hill which is bounded by several peaks. Passing farms and villages the trek combines eye-catching Himalayan vistas with out of imagination and artictic mixture. Between the two peaks Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre the trip towards deep gorge through thick bamboo jungles of the narrow Modi Khola which comes from the base camp.

You will be in the middle of arena of snow covered peaks – Annapurna (9,091m) as well as other major peaks overlooking the sanctuary that includes the South Annapurna (7,119m) Gangapurna (7,455m) and Annapurna 3rd (7,555m) with other white peaks. The area also referred to machhapuchhere Base Camp. The return adventure descends via the lush terraced Modi Khola until the Nayapul here from the bus and car facilities are available to Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 950m 5-6 hours journey 200 k.m.

Day 03: Drive to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Dhampus. 1,500m.

Day 04: Trek to Landrung (Landruk) 1,600m. 5-6 hrs walk.Day 05: Trek to Chomrong 1,951m approx. 6 hours walks.

Day 06: Trek to Dovan 2,130m via Bamboo 2,050m approx. 6 hours walk.

Day 07: Trek to Deurali. 3,350m. 3-4 hrs.

Day 08: Trek to Maccahapuchare Base Camp 3,720m. Approx 3-4 hrs.

Day 09: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,095m 3-4 hours walk.

Day 10: Trek to Himalaya Hotel.2, 900m. Approx. 6 hours walk.

Day 11: Trek to Chomrong. Approx 4-5 hrs.

Day 12: Trek to Ghandrung ( Ghandruk) 5-6 hrs.

Day 13: Trek and drive to Pokhara. Approx 3 hrs walk and 1 1/2 hours drive.

Day 14: Transfer to Airport for the flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 15: Transfer to Airport for International departure.

Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) 5 hours overnight at Lodge (B, L ,D)

Day 08: Early morning nice view of Annapurna I (8091m), and Sunrise from Mt. Machhapuchre (6993 m) also magnificent Himalayan panorama many etc, than trek back to Sinuwa overnight at Lodge (B, L ,D)

Day 09:Trek to Jhinu (1780 m) 4 hours walking overnight at Lodge (B, L ,D)

Day 10:Trek to Until Birethanti / Nayapul (1,050 m) 4 hours walking than by private transport to Pokhara over night at Pokhara Hotel on B / B

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu by Deluxe Tourist bus over night at Hotel on B / B. Evening farewell dinner with typical Nepali culture
