During this time of the year we used to guide many tourist from all over the world, in Nepal for trekking and Mountaineering activities.
But this year due to the Covid 19 we have lost our high season both spring and autumn , + summer. all our local guides , climbing Sherpa and porter lost the season job, which effect very badly. some of our crew are really straggling the finical problem. we high Himalayan organized fundraised for Covid 19 relief project since last few months ago and we distributed those fund to our Staff, which help to support our crew several months. Thats fund we got help from Norway and USA Friends!
we didn’t expect that this pandemic will take away our one of the main season September to Dec. but now we came to know it has and which already effect for all of us, those who only depend on the Tourism seasonal work.
So now High Himalayan we created this welfare fund and we would request to you any help to full fill our staffs.
