Himalaya Alpine Mountaineering Course ( HAMC) 2017/2018.

GUIDED HIMALAYA,

Objective – After The complete  the Himalayan Alpine Mountaineering Course (HAMC). Participant (Trainees) will Learn technique  about Mountaineering activities . Himalayan Glacier , anchorage, Crevasse  Rescue Systems , Jumaring on Fix line And rope and knots. Includes how to trek high altitude  we take you through Trekking via Gokiyo Valley , Everest Base camp and Peak climbing Includes  over 6000m. Lobuche and Island Peak.

 

Difficulty grade: Trekking  to Gokiyo valley and over chola Pass is  easy trekking and pass and hike up to Gokiyo ri And Choala pass and Kalapather + EBC is similar  difficulties  among the trekking , but it is perfect training for The Peak Ascent and rest of the Mountaineering course , as well as good combinations with acclimatizations .

The climbing of the peak is (UIAA 5a) alpine. In addition the altitude has to be taken into consideration. so that means both physically and technically  it is more difficult than the Trekking and pass.

Trip duration: 21 days including trekking,Peak Climbing trips. and  training.

Food and lodging: During trek + training   Lodging will be in tea houses. all meal will be freshly cooked and served at the lodge.During the Training  + peak climbing , and other  mountaineering training  will be tents at base camp / high camp of the Peaks. here ,will be provided ( alpine style ). contact us if any queries.

Requirement : Physically  , mentally well prepare ,  and some technical , mini basic  mountaineering and climbing or similar Training from any out door physical fitness center or mountaineering  club.

Day1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Day2 Kathmandu Preparations  and Frist Aid Class .

Day3Flight to Lukla – Trek to Phakding – 2656m

Day4Trek to Namche Bazaar – 3450m

Day5Acclimatisation trek Namche Bazaar – 3450m

Day6Trek to Dole – 4040m rope work

Day7Trek to Machermo – 4400m – Rope work,

Day8Acclimatisation trek Machermo and training – 4452m rock anchore different types

Day9Trek to Gokiyo Lake – 4750m, roping practice,

Day10 hike up to Gokiyo ri 5364m, back to Dangnak: Himalaya Cravasse Rescue /Theory 

Day11 Trek to Zongla 4830m ,.Before Zongla Over Chola passes 5330,  crevasse Rescue practice.

Day12 Hike up to High camp of Lobuche, Practice of Snow Anchorage,

Day13 Summit day of Lobhuche peak, part of training – back to Lobuche or stay at high camp.

Day14 from Lobuche , hike to Kalapather, and Everest BC.

Day 15 trek to Chucking over khongmala pass,

Day 16 Chuking Peak, short rope practice

Day     17   rest day , short rope and Short Raple  practice… at cuckung, around lodge.

Day   18 hike island peak BC And

Day   19 summit day for island peak back to bc

Day 20 back to pangboche

Day 21Back to Namche    ,

Day 22, Back to Lukla    

Day 23 fly back to KTM Day 24 free day

day 25th back to sweet home sweet …..

Insurance:

Make sure you have a good insurance covering search and rescue, medical expenses and transportation to home country. You should also consider a Cancellation Policy in case of illness at time of departure.
